Local community

At RWE, we know that a proactive, collaborative approach is what ensures projects are safe, sustainable and generate positive benefits for communities. Developing projects of this scale is a long process that requires engagement with the community every step of the way.

RWE has staff locally in Humboldt and is frequently engaged with local Tribal Nations, community groups, businesses, governments, educational institutions, and the local fishing community. RWE is committed to becoming a good neighbor on the North Coast and has had over 130  engagements with local communities so far.

While the NATCP has been shared with all participating Tribes, we have not yet received feedback from all Tribes. This document is considered “evergreen” and is subject to change based on feedback we receive from participating Tribes and on our project plans.

We want to hear from you.

Our ambition is to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard throughout this process, beginning years before construction begins.
