Local community
At RWE, we know that a proactive, collaborative approach is what ensures projects are safe, sustainable and generate positive benefits for communities. Developing projects of this scale is a long-term process that requires continuous community engagement, while also creating local jobs and opportunities for workforce development at every stage.
RWE has staff locally in Humboldt and is frequently engaged with local Tribal Nations, community groups, businesses, governments, educational institutions, and the local fishing community. RWE is committed to becoming a good neighbor on the North Coast and has had over 130 engagements with local communities so far.
While the NATCP has been shared with all participating Tribes, we are continuing to listen and collaborate. This document is considered 'evergreen' and will evolve based on feedback we receive and as our project plans develop. RWE remains committed to fostering strong relationships and respecting cultural heritage throughout this process.

We want to hear from you.
We are engaging early and proactively as we aim to build a project that reflects the community’s needs and priorities.
